Saturday Morning in the suburbs.
Another sunny day here, can't bitch about that. As I come from the gloom and fog of San Diego this morning at 6am I see sun and blue sky. It has always been what I liked in Temecula. Even this early on a weekend I see people jogging or filling the local Starbucks. Reminds me of when I first came here and thought I was living in an episode of "Weeds". Living in a planed community gives you that clean fresh feel, regardless of what's really going on. All the lawns are kept cut and trash the local asshole teens throw out the windows of their cars has been picked up some how. But like I said, I can't bitch too much as I'll sit in the back yard with my dog and drink coffee by the pool. Oh, the dog just sits as he's not a fan of coffee.

Low down
Lived in many places, but ended up in Temecula. Came here with my last kid still at home of 3, two dogs and a dream. The dream of owning a home again and living in a neighborhood that reminded me of mine growing up.
I remember saying to myself "ah, people like me live here... look toy haulers and open country side." I didn't know the illusion I was seeing. A town built outside San Diego or Orange County for people that wanted to own a home but couldn't or didn't want to buy past 1/2 a million. I knew this, but things were good. I had a kick ass job I did from home so I could live anywhere.
I placed an offer on a house the first day here. I could hear Don Henley as my inner voice whisper "This could be Heaven or this could be Hell" as I signed on the doted line (OK, later to be book of dote lines with thumbprints) .
